Taken on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida near Clearwater Beach. I arrived at the beach just after sunset without a tripod and was lucky to find some rocks just above the wave splashes to set my camera on.

This Telecaster was used by Duane Allman at Muscle Shoals Studio, Alabama, during the recording of a Ronnie Hawkins LP. Duane joined the Muscle Shoals Rhythm section to lend his talents as a slide guitarist on this project. Unfortunately he left his favorite slide at home and simply plucked a glass tube from a spare amplifier and used it as a slide on this telecaster. After the sessions Duane presented this guitar to Ronnie Hawkins.
