Spring Festival couplets

Exhibited in P-A-P-E-R-C-U-T-T-I-N-G Taiwan designer week 2007. Tried to make the traditionart to be useful product by design. That people could be closed the traditional culture easily. It is a spring festival couplet combined four spring cutting words. And it could be posted up the refrigerator by the magnet as a cultural decoration for spring festival. And it could be closed to be a triangle home decor on the table, like a Chinese X¡¦mas tree, and also a placemat for dishes or bowls.

The production, marking the pattern and color on the paper cup, then paste the sticker on the information section.7 variety in one set - the 7 color of the Rainbow also means that different kind of people are well togther. By randomizing the colors you will not know what you will get until you tear the stickers open making it good to memorize your own one while doing so.

The approach to resolve this problem is simple just tear the sticker on paper cup and people will get a ¡§CHEERS¡¨ sign in different languages and in random colors.In this way people can tell their own ones instantly by the color and the CHEER sign on cup and recognize the new ones with the stickers.

A project proposal on 2007 March. Hiding the stereo but create a surrounding effect on the both sides. It seems a small surrounding stereo TV when it stands and plays the TV program. To keep surrounding
concept; the apprearance design is like a ring surrounds the mid part of object. To make a pure design; to hide the all function, A touch sensor key replaces the switch key and the stand is also a lid to cover the SD card.

M580 is designed as an entry-level Blue tooth mobile phone. M580’s smooth curves place an emphasis on simplicity and gracefulness. The embedded mobile phone functions are concealed in the two layers, and different colored rings intuitively hint at the shell’s opening and closing.The phone’s dimensions of 88 x 44 x 22 mm represent a golden ratio for mobile phones.

Project proposals on 2005 March. Tried to create different input applications and exterior designs by the different music themes. The final proposal is regarding the retro radio. The design is to set the music hot-key to side key like the type player buttom. It separates the phone key and music key. The side curve looks like a retro radio. User recall the momeries about music and recognize it is a music phone instinctively.
